Restorative Dentistry

Not every damage requires a crown right away

.

Restorative dentistry offers various options to fix dental defects by adhesive fillings – from simple posterior fillings (we stopped using amalgam 15 years ago), large-scale occlusal reconstruction, and anterior-edge restoration to restoration of cervical defects and closure of gaps. It is not always necessary to grind a tooth in preparation for a crown. In many cases, we can maintain a majority of the tooth structure with our technique.

Only if the stability is no longer guaranteed, do we plan a replacement with material from our lab (see Individual Prosthodontics).
